It is 2024 and Emeka Eneli has BROKEN out this year! He has been nearly unmatched in his dominance in midfield. He gives Darlington Nagbe vibes in how well he holds on to the ball and bosses midfield. I really wanted both Eneli and Andres Gomez kits, but someone beat me to the Gomez. However bringing home a Beehive State kit of Eneli was my top want anyway so I was thrilled to bring it home.

Espeically being that his jersey is from his rookie season. The lettering of his name on the back is well wrinkled and starting to peel from the many use and washings this kit has gone through.

Pablo is one of my favorite players in the league. A midfielder who has a 2 way game and can play a good pass is something I could watch all day long. So I was THRILLED when my buddy DW offered me this jersey for my collection.

Rimando is one of my all time favorite players. The dude dominated in goal for years despite being 5’9″. As a similiarly sized goalkeeper myself, I always rooted hard for the dude. It pleased me to no end when my friend posted up a Rimando for sale that was photomatched to the game. Needless to say this jersey had to come to my collection.

It’s strange to only take two photos of one of my favorite jerseys, but not much going on here to see up close. It’s a standard keeper jersey. It was hard to get a photo from the game as well. Not much media from that game is left and SKC were impotent in attack in the second half. So this screenshot was the best I could do.

Alvaro Saborio was one of the first big name DPs in league history. It’s documented that he’s the reason why guys like Nico Lodeiro and others came to the league. So when a chance came up to get jersey of the legendary striker, I couldn’t pass it up.

The jersey came from the collection of another Costa Rican who swapped jerseys with Alvaro after the game (Victor Bolivar).

Kyle Beckerman was a monster, and I mean that in a good way. He would destroy you on the field, and was a bit of a master of the dark arts. But not only did he have that dog in him, the dude could PLAY. He set the tone for the entire team from midfield, his passing, positional sense, etc. were all elite. His was a jersey that I HAD to have in my collection and that I couldn’t get quick enough.

Eddie is one of the all time great MLS and USMNT players. The dude was nothing short of incredible. He played quite a while ago however, and his jerseys are scarce. So it was with great surprise and glee when one of his kits became available.
