This jersey is truly awesome. Darren Yapi is such a fun and exciting player and a wonderful young man. He was kind enough to give me his jersey on 8/31/2024 in what was a 3-2 Colorado Rapids win.

Subbed on in the 71st minute with Colorado down to Dallas 2-1, Yapi made an instant impact on the game. A PK in the 76th minute made it 2-2 and it looked like both sides were destined for a point each. Then Darren decided it was time for Yapi Hour. In 3rd minute of stoppage time, Djordje Mihailovic plays a long ball into Darren. As the ball bounced in the box, Darren used his thigh to chip the ball over goalkeeper Maarten Paes to score the game winning goal.

Darren then walked right over to me post game and handed me his shirt. This was his second MLS goal of his career (3rd overall as he scored in Leagues Cup against Toluca). I am honored to be able to have his shirt and I can’t wait to see his career unfold. I wish nothing but the best for such a kind guy.

Debuting at the age of 16 in 2018, it seems like Cole Bassett has been in the league for quite a while already. After a couple year stint in the Eredivise in the Netherlands, Cole came back to Colorado in 2023 and posted up 6 goals and an assist in 25 matches. He was also in the 95% for non penalty xG for midfielders at the age of 22.

The jersey has a really cool stain from the Vicks that is applied to the jersey as well.

This was a cool jersey pickup of a great MLS player Benny Feilhaber. The jersey looks like it might be photmatched to the game against DC United on 4/13/2019. I’m still looking for a better quality photo, but this photo appears to show some distressed on the same side that this jersey has.

I’ve always been a massive Kellyn Acosta fan. Like HUGE. I was here in Dallas when he broke through and I became an insanely huge fan. I never was able to get his Dallas game used jersey, something I’m still hoping to remedy one day.

Not a lot going on with this jersey. But an incedibly hard jersey to photograph. It was hard to get the maroon colors right as the phone constantly wanted to brighten up the red. And the red and blue do not want to work together when trying to adjust the coloring to its proper form.

I got this from a Rapids collector who got it from a media guy that Kellyn gave the jersey too.
